Less than a year after Awkward. went off the air, and one of the MTV series’ main stars has another exciting adventure ahead of her: marriage. That’s right, over the weekend, Molly Tarlov, who played the ever-popular anti-hero Sadie Saxton throughout the dramedy’s five-season run, got married to her love, Alexander Noyes, proving that life doesn’t have to be so ~awkward~.
The 30-year-old actress and 30-year-old former Honor Society drummer got engaged in June 2015 after less than six months of dating. Fast forward to March 4, 2017, and they’re walking down the aisle, professing their love for each other in front of their family and friends, including Awkward. co-star Jillian Rose Reed, G.B.F. co-star Xosha Roquemore and actor Eli Roth.
“The most fun were the little things we stumbled upon deciding to do that really reflect us,” Molly told People, “like The Cactus and The Rose logo, the neon sign and I, of course, had a lot of fun putting pink roses anywhere possible! The most challenging for me was definitely the two weeks leading up to the wedding. We had a lot of mishaps and more than that, I couldn’t believe we put ourselves through all this stress when we could’ve gone to the courthouse and gotten a pizza! But it was all worth it, of course!”
